Mechanical welding shop

In its own boilermaking - welding shop of roughly 1000 m², FELJAS & MASSON specialists prefabricate pipes, support structures and metalwork components out of steel or stainless steel before on-site installation.
The shop is equipped with:

• 1 water-cooled TIG welding machine + DVT
• TIG machine
• 3 semi-automatic MIG-MAG machines
• 3 metal arc welding machines
• 1 plasma welding machine
• Motorized turning gear: 1 pair
• A 360° jib crane of 1 tonne
• A 250 kg jib crane
• 2 forklifts (3 and 4 tonnes)
• 1 passivation tank of 1200 liters
• Band saw-type cutting machine and drill press
• An assortment of tools

The team comprises a shop foreman, welders and pipefitters who all hold the steel fusion welding qualifications that comply with ISO9606-1 and EN287-1 standards. The team also works on the project sites.
