ETHIOPIA
FELJAS & MASSON signed its first Ethiopian contract in 1974 and created a subsidiary in Addis Ababa. The drinking water treatment plant built at the time is a testimony to FELJAS & MASSON ETHIOPIA's expertise: the plant was operating perfectly when it had to be demolished to make way for the tram line. The plant equipment was reinstalled in a new pumping station and continues to serve well.
FELJAS & MASSON ETHIOPIA is a major subsidiary and employs twenty staff. With its own engineering and design office, its in-house logistics department and local trusted partners, FELJAS & MASSON ETHIOPIA plays a role in Ethiopia's major water projects: borewells and water treatment plants supply water to the capital, Addis Ababa, but also irrigation systems for sugar cane plantations, and drinking water production and transportation for provincial towns such as Jimma, Mettu and Gondar.
