UZBEKISTAN

FELJAS & MASSON opened its Uzbekistan subsidiary following the signing of a major contract to construct pumping stations in NAVOI and USHKARA. Over-exploitation of water resources in the region have resulted in the drying up of the Aral Sea and the draining of many aquifers. In addition, the region has an arid climate and Uzbekistan agriculture is almost wholly reliant on irrigation infrastructures. FELJAS & MASSON continues to contribute its expertise in water management technology in Uzbekistan as well as in other neighboring countries in central Asia.
